• "Obscura" is the feminine form of the Latin adjective "obscurus," which means dark, shadowy, indistinct, or unclear. It can also refer to something hidden, secret, or not easily understood. 

Perla Obscura is a fine-only jewelry collection from LSM Atelier by Angela Bulich. Crafted exclusively from natural diamonds and solid 14k and 18k gold, each piece begins with the quiet, mystique: black mother-of-pearl.

Harvested from the black-lip oyster in the remote, midnight waters of New Zealand and the South Pacific, this dark nacre is the very shell that gives rise to the legendary Tahitian black pearl. Over years, the ocean sculpts its surface into liquid iridescence — flickering with oil-slick green, violet ash, and muted silver. Like a moonlight in the tide.

Each form is hand-shaped and accented in a precious metal, set with natural diamonds. meant to reveal contrast of luminosity; the liquidy depths of the ocean vs, the cold hard diamonds from underground.
