Sterling silver vine lariat chain and 2.5 inch, substantial fish pendent. Grade AAA holding citrine bezel set eyes.

The pacu inhabits the waters of southern Brazil, Uruguay, northern Argentina.
During the annual floods, pacu leave the main river channels - entering the waters around the flooded gallery forests, where higher waters sometimes enable them to eat the fruits directly off the trees. They are delightful culinary fish, often endearingly called the “river pig” because of their taste and versatility; a local cultural staple and homage to the native plants and animals that nature the people and culture of Iguazu.

About LSM Atelier by Angela Bulich

“Angela Bulich’s limited-edition jewelry collections are based on sculptural designs that interpret nature, art and travel.  She is fascinated by “natural materials forged by time,” says the artist. “Materials that were created through time, and so too continue to last“. She uses traditional casting and metal forging techniques to create art-jewelry inspired by different places around the world. Her brand is called LSM, for leather stone and metal. These are her enduring materials of choice.

The LSM x Awasi Iguazu jewlery collection is dedicated to the jungles of the Atlantic Rainforest, where she was invited at Awasi Art Immersion. She begins designing by collecting plant specimens directly from the jungle —the bending, shaping, composing the botanical elements as if assembling real jewlery. These botanical structures are to be used as design references and later interpreted in metal. In another technique she uses the exact branch, or plant to be directly casted as a silver metal replica. Its textures and shape immortalized as precious metal. The collection also features stones mindfully sourced directly from the local mines in Argentina, and uses responsibly sourced or recycled metals whenever possible. She created this collection as a homage to the magic and extraordinary biodiversity of jungle and hopes the collection is symbolic of all the natural treasures the world gifts us to experience
